To commemorate the free Explore Elmhurst Express Trolley celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Phase Three Brewing in Elmhurst created "Hop On!", an exclusive hazy IPA, and we got to try it out, fresh from the source! And it was such a unique way to celebrate a night out exploring the Elmhurst via trolley!

We visited Phase Three Brewing Company, located on Spring Road in Elmhurst, to try their newest release, Hop On! along with a delicious meal in their family-friendly taproom + kitchen. They had it available on tap to enjoy there, or in cans to-go.

The Phase Three menu was eclectic, portions were generous, and the kid menu has a kidcuterie board! š The flights were a great way to try out a couple different beers to see what went best with the world flavors we tried off the food menu. What we tried: Pork Lumpia, Kalbi Short Rib Bowl and the Beef Sisig. Oh, and we stopped back in after our trolley adventures to grab an Ube Cheesecake to go. Can't wait to go back and try the smashburgers and bread pudding with salted bourbon caramel.

The Explore Elmhurst Express Trolley stop #5 is right outside the Phase Three dining room (or right next to some of the sidewalk patio tables!) so it was fun to watch the families hopping on and off all evening! Some with groceries and shopping bags coming back from their adventures, and some just starting out their explorations for the night.

So we didn't have to worry about parking downtown, we left our car in the lot near Phase Three Brewing, and hopped on the trolley at Spring Road, and rode it into Downtown Elmhurst. We hopped off, walked around and enjoyed the beautiful and lively downtown scene, grabbed a cocktail and enjoyed it on one of the sidewalk patios. We then hopped back on for a cool breezy nighttime ride back to our car, making it such an easy way to enjoy multiple stops around Elmhurst, without having to worry about finding (or paying!) for a parking spot!
